Identity and Expression
This assignment relates to Book 1 , Voices and Texts of Authority Chapter. 2 ‘Canons and Classics in Literature and Music’ and write your essay in about 1200 words.
Question
John Donne has been called ‘the most electrifying poet in the English language’ by the popular modern historian Simon Schama (2009). How far this comment supports Donne’s canonical status?

Answers which omit some concepts /evidence and/or lack coherence /structure, and/or make minor errors while still demonstrating basic understanding.
